Child Safety Standards
Our standards against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE).
Zero tolerance
Reminder Voice has zero tolerance for content or conduct that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors, in any form, anywhere on the platform — including person-to-person messages and reminders, channel broadcasts, and profile content. Any account found to be involved in such activity is removed.
What we do about it
- Blocking: any user can block another user at any time. Blocking is enforced server-side — a blocked user cannot send you reminders or messages, and is filtered from your contacts, not just hidden in the app's interface.
- Reporting: if you encounter content or conduct that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers a minor — in a message, a reminder, a channel, or a profile — report it immediately. You can report a user, a message, or a channel directly within the app using the Report option (available from contact details, from the long-press menu on a chat message, and from channel pages), selecting “Child safety concern” as the reason, or by emailing help@remindervoice.com with as much detail as possible (the account or channel involved, and a description of what you saw). Reports are reviewed, and where appropriate are escalated to law enforcement and/or the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the relevant authority in your jurisdiction. The offending account is removed.
- Law enforcement cooperation: we cooperate with law enforcement requests relating to child safety as required by applicable law.
- Channels: broadcast channels can be joined by anyone with a 6-character join code, a QR code, or (for discoverable channels) directly from Discover. Channel owners and admins are responsible for the content broadcast in their channel. Channels used to sexualize, exploit, or endanger minors, or that host repeat violations of these standards, are removed along with the associated account.
Note: Reminder Voice provides an in-app “Report”
option on individual messages, contacts, and channels, in addition to the
email address above. Both channels are reviewed and acted on.
